Hourly rates, metered by the minute
Prices are displayed as hourly rates, but usage is metered by the minute: each deduction rounds the time since the previous one up to a whole minute. You top up a prepaid wallet and usage is deducted from it. No subscriptions, no contracts.

Rates shown are from-rates: the base hourly rate, which applies in US East (N. Virginia), US East (Ohio), and US West (Oregon) with the 7 Mbit/s upload tier and the included 100 GB disk. The region you choose adds up to 18% to the base rate, and a faster upload bandwidth adds up to €0.25 per hour. The create form shows the exact hourly rate before you launch the machine.
These are on-demand rates. Spot machines (Windows Server 2022 only) are billed at a lower spot rate, shown in the form. The provider can reclaim a spot machine at short notice, which stops it and can lose unsaved work. A reclaim is not detected automatically, so the machine can keep showing as running and keep being charged until you stop it. If a spot machine stops responding, stop it and contact support (also if the stop does not go through): verified time that was charged but not supplied is refunded or credited under the Terms.

How billing works
- Metering
- Prices are displayed as hourly rates, but usage is metered by the minute: each deduction rounds the time since the previous one up to a whole minute.
- When charges run
- Charges accrue from when a machine is started, including start-up time and any wait for capacity, until it is stopped.
- When the wallet is charged
- Metered usage is deducted from the wallet balance while the machine runs, normally once an hour, and when it is stopped.
- Storage
- The first 100 GB of disk is included in the hourly rate. Each additional GB adds €0.002 per hour to that rate, and disk is not charged while the machine is stopped.
- Starting a machine
- Creating or starting a machine requires a balance that covers at least 3 hours at that machine's hourly rate. This is a check, not a charge: only metered usage is deducted.
- If credit runs out
- The balance is checked each time usage is deducted. If it cannot cover the usage, what is left is deducted, the balance stops at €0.00 and the machine is stopped automatically. The stop happens at that deduction, not at the moment the balance runs out. A stopped machine keeps its disk and can be started again after more credit is added.
Included with every machine
- Windows Server 2022, or Windows 10 with your own licence
- Full administrator access
- Install any software you need
- 100 GB disk that keeps your files while the machine is stopped
- Stop it once it is running: usage is charged up to the stop
- No subscription, contract or setup fee
Common questions
- Is the listed rate what I pay?
- Rates shown are from-rates: the base hourly rate, which applies in US East (N.
- Do I pay while the machine is stopped?
- No. Compute and disk are both part of the hourly rate, and nothing is charged while the machine is stopped. Your files stay on the disk while it is stopped.
- Can I get unused credit back?
- Credit that has never been spent can be refunded if you ask within 14 days of the top-up. Email support@gpuxe.example; the Terms of Service have the details.
- Can I switch GPUs?
- Create another machine with a different GPU. Each machine has its own disk and its own hourly rate.
